Breguet Marine - one year on pics

Hi all,

I have had this timepiece over a year now and is still as special as I first got it. I have a 17 watch collection including Rolex, Patek, AP, Lange and if I was forced to choose a one and only then this would be it.

Suitable for any occasion, very comfortable, slim and lavishly luxurious. This is the Breguet Marine 5817.

Very nice! Do you have a head on picture of the face?

How do you feel about the Roman numerals when wearing it with casual clothes? The marine is at the top of my list as a “do everything watch” but the Roman numerals are always the sticking point.

Not a problem at all. I understand your concern but it actually works really well and provides a nice contrast to the Arabic date and allows it to also be a dress piece if required.

Thank you for the head on picture! How about the swirl pattern in the inner blue circle? Pleasing or distracting?

Mesmerising! Guilloche by hand on a solid gold disc, catches the light wonderfully.
