Sapphire caseback vs metal caseback in terms of comfort

I love the fact that clear casebacks lets us admire the movement but after having my watch for a few months, i realized that the watch tends to stick to my wrist due to sweat over time. I'm not sure if that's because of the way the watch sits on the wrist or because the glass is stickier on the wrist compared to metal.

I don't have this issue for my other watches with metal caseback. For those with both sapphires glass caseback and metal caseback APs, is one more comfortable to wear than the other?

I’ve never noticed this difference.

Sapphire case backs I feel I definitely cannot wear snug as it seems to stick as you mentioned, makes it a bit less comfortable. Don’t get that with my Rolex watches.

Yes I experienced the same problem. Kind of like the glass is "dragging" the skin the along. Some watches have this worse than others. Hence I prefer close caseback watches when doing outdoor exercise or activity.

That happens with me more with my DSSD, Sub, and GMT than other watches with exhibition backs.

And certainly didn't happen with the forged carbon 44mm ROO.

I must be weird. I have both open and closed case backs and I actually like that the glass sticks a little bit. Helps keep the watch from sliding.
