50 years
Feeling a bit pensive tonight. Never saw him perform in person but listened to tons of studio and bootleg recordings. I've been playing guitar 52 years and still can't make the sounds he made but neither could anyone else.
50 years,, what more can be said? Remembering the late great Jimi Hendrix. |

On this morning 1970 I broke the sad news to my housemates.
As full time freaks, we sat cross legged on the floor in our house, smoked something herbal, and listened to Jimi all day. We'd only seen him on the Isle of Wight a few weeks earlier. 'scuse me while I kiss the sky..... |
