Would anyone be able to advise how much does a Platinum 5270 salon dial cost new in the UK ?

What savings could I possibly make if I bought a slightly used example ?

Locally, usual Patek discount is 20 to 25% off MSRP (of course except the hot models).

In very good condition, i expect a used one to be around 25 to 30% off MSRP.

i doubt you will get much of a discount in the UK especially with the upcoming price rise.

it’s a lovely watch with a very balanced dial.

Before the price increase you should be able to find them around ~160k in the grey market new.

The market for 5270s are soft.

there was a thread not too long ago and several people claimed prices between $130-140k were attainable. I don'y know if its true or not but $160k seems rather high

Yeah there is one at K2 now for 155k, one can probably negotiate it down more.
