But, by the same token, I'm pretty sure an AD will move considerably on a cash price!!

Give it a shot....what have you got to lose? (Except a few thousand bucks, of course!!)

If you're talking directly to me in your post, JJ, I would have to say that I would probably go for the Bark DD first (money is no object, right?!?)...THEN get after that yummy Daytona with the Midas aura! After all, I already own a TT Daytona now.

Well, I am going to go against the flow. Since you already have 3 Rolex, why not something else.

Check out getting one of the below: (all are very well made, ruggedd, nice looking watches!)

Ulysse Nardin Dual Time or Maxi Marine Chronometer

Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk

IWC Ingeniuer

Agreed, Bo. A beautiful Rolex, in my estimation. The only all-gold watch I would even think about purchasing.

A nice used PREZ is hard to beat and a great contrast to the sport models you have!

Post this over in the WTB section and you will probably get a lot of help.

Think you really need to go to an AD and try on several models. Wait a few days and repeat. And then buy....good luck.

My thought is a used Sub or Daytona but that is because I like both. I really like my Breitling's but be really sure if you go that way as the resale is not good. By going Rolex, you can resell if you did not choose the right one and not loose a great percentage.

Instead of a NEW watch...How about a nice vintage piece...
Much nicer then anything Rolex has come out with in years and if you buy smart you will never loose any money...And you might even make a few bucks should you need to sell...
Something to think about...

Add a Daytona to your collection...just make sure a date function is not a priority for you.
