SS GMT ii c and Sub LV

Firstly, i am a newbie in this field.... this review is purely based on one month experience of owning these 2 precious items of mine.

SS GMT ii c
Bezel is amazing... ceramic really shines and it gives me the reflection of elegance I don't regret buying this as my first rolex at all. The clasp is really comfortable. Even though I wear it almost everyday, I see this watch serves more as a dress watch.... the elegance of the watch can be fitted with formal attire and casual event....
The new casing is good, heavier but not too heavy. Even though I like heavier watch, but this watch gives me presence on my wrist....
Maxi dial is amazing.... i love this more than the classic dial. Everything is clear and the cyclops on the date is perfect.
This is my first time having a GMT watch.... the fourth hand helps me to figure out the time in my country (Indonesia) and the headquarter of my office based in Texas, USA.
Overall, I give this watch score 9 /10.... the only downside for me is the PCL.... I love PCL so to speak.... but it scratches easily if compared to BCL.

Sub LV
I love Sub LV because of the maxi dial (AGAIN).... for me the maxi dial is the way to go in the future and it will not lost its identity as a classic Sub with the old casing. The weight is one issue that bothers me sometimes... for a iconic watch from Rolex, the weight is considered too light for my taste... I don't really like the clasp in submariner.... it feels vulnerable probably to the hollow section of the link.
Personally, i like ceramic bezel... but the green color of this watch amuses me all the time... it gives me smile whenever i look at it. that's probably the selling point of this watch....
The black color dial is perfect for my taste as the new LV may just be too green for me. Since I don't dive, the bezel can be used as timer sometimes, but that's about it
For me, this watch is a FUN watch to be used for casual occasions.... i don't think it goes well with suit, unless we wear green shirt or tie together to match with it... I give Sub LV score of 8 / 10 because green is my color and my university color (U of O, ducks)... GO DUCKS...

Thanks for the reviews.

I like the SS GMTIIC as well as the classic GMTIIs!

Great review!
(& funnily enough the same pairing that I was considering but opted to wait for the SS cSub' in the end)
