I love this thread. Awesome. Now I have another reason to visit a Prime Rib, Barclay Prime, Del Frisco’s, etc...

Anyone ever devoured the deliciousness served up at Keens in NYC? I need more recs for similarly amazing joints.

I once ate a "free if you can eat it" 72 ounce steak in Amarillo Texas. Then I threw up.

I ate one of these from Echo and Rig... easily some of the biggest steaks I personally have consumed.

Also... insanely expensive.

I love a tender eye fillet cooked medium-rare, preferably without any fat.
Sides of a little fresh salad or roast vegetables is good.
About 8 oz (250g) is as much meat as I want in a sitting. Overeating diminishes the experience. I can't imagine eating 20 oz of meat.

Did a 42oz tomahawk a few years back at Flemings. No starters, no sides, no dessert. Pure meat. Worth every penny.

Same! Had an amazing bistecca alla fiorentina on my last vacation there. The wife was both proud and ashamed of my accomplishment.
