How does it work? Here’s an idea. With start/stop pusher screw in, chronograph function reset and disengaged. 12 Hours counter will function as Month indicator and 30 Mins counter function as Day indicator. How bout 31st? This requires a new small indicator which could also function as Function Indicator (Chrono On/Off).

Optional: Rolex could add another small indicator to show 1/2/3/4 for leap year indication but not required for annual calendar version.

No doubt Rolex could make such caliber, their technical pool is abundant.

That's really enlightening. I've 5 odd Daytons, and am not ashamed to say - don't really use it's chronograph function. But I've never ventured to use the sub dials for date or month. Inspirational.
Regards

There are lots of quartz and designer watches that have sub dial calendar functions solely because the movements are cheaper than chronos, but it looks like a chrono. To do this to the Daytona would dilute the brand, and be a dream come true for the people that make fake watches.

Day/date/month concept looks awesome though!
