Well, if you have to ask… You’re obviously not comfortable with it.

I’m no expert but glancing at mine and looking at the screen there’s a few reasons why I would pass.

What bothers me is the color of the gold, the hairy hour hand and the lifeless dial. What about you?

More pix of the watch and bracelet would be good.

Maybe it's a bad photo but the "N" in "Chronometer" looks off. The "O" in Rolex is misshapen and the dial doesn't pop like a sunburst should (lighting could be bad).

I wouldn't be comfortable.

It's almost impossible to tell if it's genuine from just photographs, although I don't see any glaring red flags.

I wouldn't buy it unless it's from a trusted seller with lots of positive reviews, and even then would pay to have it authenticated by a reputable watchmaker very familiar with Rolex watches who is equipped to open the case, inspect the movement, install the caseback with a new gasket, and pressure test for WR, all without doing any damage.

From the photograph alone, it appears genuine to me. The letter O in ROLEX looks weird, but it could be a distortion in the glass. As others have stated, more pictures are needed.

Should be the 116613 fat case and it looks legit IMO.
But if you are that uncomfortable don’t do it at least until you can get it thoroughly checked and authenticated.
Or like others have said, find another one.

Thanks all, this is from a private seller with a insanely low price. But I keep saying to myself: if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Looks ok to me too. The thing with two-tone Subs is they can look kind of tatty (and therefore "fake" to some) after a few years if they're not cleaned up and polished.

When jewellery and tool watches collide.

The weight is the best way to tell as some fakes now look so close on and are easy to convince with the right pics, it weighs around 20g more than the SS so easy to tell if it is real gold.

Even if it's the real McCoy it could be stolen if the price is insanely low. It would be a shame to send it to an RSC for service sometime in the future and have it confiscated as having been reported stolen. I'd pass.

This. There is a reason that the price is too low.
