5960/01g

have deliveries on this piece already started? see

https://www.watchlounge.com/hands-on...vintage-touch/

why no love? isn't it somewhat the chrono-counterpart of the 5524G?

I saw it in Geneva. It ok but that's about it. My group on the Patek tour wasn't too enthusiastic about it. It's thick.

I think the 5960 has been around for a long time and with many variations so people are looking for something different.

i think there is something about these AC Chronos that stops the watch for really from getting the attention/demand that should have. Proof of that is all the different variations that Patek has come up with since the 5960p came up years a go.

Make sure you try it first unless you're willing to take a big hit resale wise.

It's actually very beautiful in person. A great casual and sport watch that's somehow more elegant/ refined than the 1/A. The question is do you opt for this or stick with one of the discontinued platinum versions?

It is really beautiful

I tried it on a few weeks ago and I like it a lot, the blue dial is really nice. I own a 5960A white dial which is my daily beater.

I like the new blue variant in wg, but prefer the discontinued platinum versions better (especially the grey, but I know I'm in the minority)

is it possible that it will be hyped in the near future just as the 5524G is now?

That seems extremely unlikely given how many 5960s have been made to date.
