Precision 6494
Friend has a Rolex Precision model 6494 (see photo). Serial 206XXX. Told him I would try to find the market value. So of course I have come to the experts. Any help would be appreciated.
Thx, Mike |

I think under $1000 for sure. I'm buying non-date same vintage in the $700 range.

Actually, might be worth a bit more, perhaps 1000-1200, as it's an unusual earlier incarnation of the Oysterdate (seems to be late '50s-early '60s) than those typically seen.
I sold a pristine 1964 6494 this past year (serviced), on a 7205 bracelet, for 1150, for comparison.

$1300 at the most, if it had the original bracelet! Either way it is a nice looking watch!
