Vintage 6098 serial #916
Hi can anyone assist.
I have a Rolex Model # 6098 Serial # 916*** It has a white dial, gold hands, sweeping second hand and has numbers 1 -12. Basically I am considering selling this item but really need to know what I have first. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Regards Tony |

Thanks for replying, the pictures aren't very good. I dont believe that the watch has been altered in any way other than the wrist strap.
I have done a fair bit of searching on the www for the same watch but no luck so far. Thank you for replying to my question, any info at all would be great. |

It is a big bubbleback and should come with non-fully enclosed movement. The dial looks to me a refinished one.

I agree with Bagel that it's an (old) dial refinish. I've never seen such a funky coronet before!
