Vintage Tudor
Hi all,
My wife had a friend who passed away recently, and his wife was requesting that I try to find out any information about his watch. It is a Tudor Oyster Automatic with no date (see pics). There are some numbers on the case back, which is stainless. The watch is on a new leather strap, and was sent out in the past year or two to Rolex, where it was repaired, and the missing crown was replaced. I really don't know much about Tudors at all, so I have no idea as to the age or value of the watch, and any info would be appreciated. |

As to the vintage, its from somewhere between 1936 and 1947. Scroll down to Dials in this thread:

I would guess $800 to 1100. (but i'm no expert).
It is similar to the watch posted here (which apparently has altered movement issues). http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ster+automatic |
