Sent in my 328 for repair
Hello. I sent my 328 in for repair, the minute and hour hands were not lining up correctly. I thought the hour hand jumped a tooth in the running train, but I am not certain. I just got info today that the watch had been sent to Panerai for a partial service and would take 4-6 weeks. I wanted to ask those of you that had dealt with servicing your Pams is the turn-around time fairly quick? Thanks in advance!

Get ready to wait for your watch. The folks at LVMH are great though. After the service was complete they accidentally sent my watch to the wrong address. Luckily, the address didn't exist. When I finally received my watch back (359) they gave me a free strap for my time and anxiety. The service was done perfectly, no complaints at all.

Wow! That's unfortunate about the address mix-up but at least it was all good in the end. How long did you wait?

The time they quote you is pretty accurate. I wouldn't expect it any sooner. Is your warranty in effect?

No worries then, they'll send you a really nice hard shelled transport case with your watch when it's done. I know it's not much of a consolation for being without your watch for 2 months, however, I use mine on a daily basis.
Best of luck- don't forget to insure the watch when you send it! |

Thanks for the advice, I always get insurance. Just in case, it's happened before. Thanks again for the info!
