Hmm... I think you mean brass (which replaced the blue-framed hands as brass was more robust to oxidation, etc).

My wrist is too small for 47mm, so I got 390 with gold hands. Definitely like it much better then black hands.

Pictures do not do it justice, but I just picked up the 425 and love the way the gold hands pop on the matte black dial!
