If it is legit than it would be a nice addition to a collection

Thought I had....

....heard the name before, but, had never seen one. Why is the inside of the caseback so simply stated and nothing on the mvm't????

Thanks, Stan.

I would not buy from this guy. He has a 96% rating and everybody that slammed him he came around and slammed them. He takes no responsibility for any claims made against him. He has supposedly doctored photographs to make the item look better than it was, he has misrepresented items, he has sold watches that were fakes or questionable at best, etc. I would avoid this guy like the plague.

Did a little more....

...research. In my copy of "The Best of Time" by Dowling and Hess, on page 141, a case just like this one is pictured with a Solar Aqua, and the PLAIN inside case back with only the word Rolex stamped on it. CANNOT find a Sky Rocket, unless I missed it.

Additionally, on page 140, it shows an "Oyster Lipton", basically the same as the listing and the Solar Aqua.

The mvmt pictured in The Best of Time looks EXACTLY like the one in the listing. Now, based on this, I am inclined to say it is Genuine.

OT:
hey tudorman, do u use any ebay sniper software? I saw you bought another 295-c2 crystal from the same place last night (earlier today)...
Next time I see you around I'd be careful not to get things bidded up sky high.
