Daytona Steel Bezel Black Coming Off

I have a 6265 with a SS Bezel and the black in the number are all off.
Anything I could do at home to fix it?

I think the easiest thing tp do would be to sell it to me! Actually I am serious but I think a sharpie and then wipe off quickly with a finger tip has worker for me on other daytona bezels.

Simple. Use black model paint, like Testors semi gloss black enamel. Get a fine brush. Paint in the numbers using very little paint. Let it dry, then lightly moisten a cloth with paint thinner and carefully wipe off the excess with light pressure so not to remove the paint inside the recessed numbers. You dont need to remove the bezel, but you can if you are afraid of making a mess. The good thing about this process is that if you screw it up, you can just do it again. I used to do this with serial numbers we stamped into custom chassis parts on street rods. Its really simple to do and looks good.

Testors makes and enamel paint stick/pen for this also - I bought one for this purpose but have not tried it yet.

yes that might even be easier. Less mess. You could also use black automotive touchup paint that comes in the pen style. I wouldnt recommend using wax crayon though... hot summer day and it will be all over your shirt cuff. I'd stick with something oil based so it doesnt come off too easy.
