Watch Winders

Hey guys, you have any suggestions here?

I bought a bunch of those Boxty units that are stack-able and they broke in less than a year.

Thanks,

JPS

You might try a search, this has been discussed to death.

I've got a couple of the Wolf Designs Roaster winders. They're a bit pricey but haven't let me down. Just google 'watch winder reviews' or something or search here on TRF and you'll get plenty of info.

I just bought a Chiyoda single winder from Amazon. Search on it. They are made of glassy wood and have Japanese motors. It runs on batteries or AC current. I have it set to run for 10 minutes and rest for 30. Highly recommend it.

Here's my recommendation: put the money you would sink into a watch winder into your next watch.

Unless you have a bunch of perpetual calendars winders are a waste of $$$.

Brookstone sells a great winder.

I would also look into the Chiyoda winder John wrote about.

Chiyoda singel watch winder on Amazon...works very nicely and the motor is extremely quiet.
