Think of older Breitling

I'm thinking of buying an older Breitling chrono from the 1950's. No sure which model yet, my question is servicing these watches......any problem with getting them serviced or getting parts? Any thoughts pro or con would be appreciated.

You'll need to find a vintage watchmaker. Breitling themselves will not be able to service a piece of this vintage because they no longer produce the parts.

Before buying, I'd join Breitling Source and post pictures of what you're buying to make sure it's authentic.

They will, but only as part of their full vintage restoration, which is a)slow and b) expensive.
Without the full monty, they won't touch it for just a service.
