Without personally resorting to silly nicknames, I much prefer the 116619LB. The matching dial and bezel just works far better IMO. The black dial (which is identical to the 126610LN and LV) just looks like a bit of a cost-cutting cop-out to me. I just think the 126619 doesn't look as special somehow.

This exactly. Which is why I ended up selling my 116619. Sometimes it looked amazing. Other times, the color looked completely wrong for such an expensive watch. Also, a colored dial like that deserves a sunburst dial, IMO.

The level to which people let nicknames bother them is mind boggling. Nicknames are nothing new. I don’t see anyone complaining about the Pepsi. Mostly just the nicknames related to cartoons like Hulk, Batman, Smurf, etc. Can’t imagine why nicknames would diminish one’s ability to enjoy a watch, especially if they don’t even own that particular reference!

100% this! I just laugh and embrace it. In the end of the day most of us can figure out what’s what with Nick names are and they’re just words nothing to get angry about

Some people would rather spit out 8-10 digit reference numbers like they're rainman rather than just say Smurf or Hulk.

I would MUCH prefer the new Cookie Monster (just as I prefer the new Cermit) over their blue/green colored dialed predecessors.

The new versions (CM and Cermit) are much more 'wearable' and i like the contrast between the colored bezels and ultra clear (because of the new AR coating) black dials.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's a new Smurf and Hulk in the future, just a dial change on the current green and blue bezel 12xxx models

If my D-Blue didn't have some black to match the bezel, wouldn't gotten it
