A vintage swag question
Hope this is the correct place for this question.
Regarding the anchors that used to come with the Submariners, why are the prices for the anchors all over the place? I've seen them from $25 to $125. My first Rolex will be the 114060 and I'd like to buy an anchor to go with it even though I know it's not year appropriate. Is there a reason the prices are so different? |

$25 is a great price. Hopefully you bought it!

Check the depth ratings. The older 660/200 anchors are a lot more expensive than the 1000/300 anchors. 114060 never came with an anchor, but you probably know that already.

Thanks, Adam.
Well, the $25 anchor sold . . . And so did the one for $55. Looking around it seems if they come with a bar at the other end there is a slight premium. If I want one looks like I'll just have to keep a vigilant eye on the classifieds. |
