DD dial question

Does Rolex make a mother of pearl diamond dial for a late 80's DD?

Yes they do, but be careful there are many aftermarket dials floating around.

As far as I know it is quite difficult getting spare parts such as dials in the States, but I suggest that you have a talk with your AD and see what he can do for you.

I don't think they would take a trade, though.

AFAIK, in the states there's a very limited choice of what type of dial you can get from rolex. Unless the rules have changed (I worked at an AD until 2003), you cannot get MOP dials, jubilee dials, roman dials from rolex if you want to switch them after the fact....
