38mm vs 42mm

Can someone explain how the Speedy Pro sizes came to be?

Sizes?

There's only one Speedy Pro size, 42mm:

There's never been a 38mm Speedy Pro.

There are Speedmasters that are available in 38mm. These are fine watches, but not "the one". If it says PROFESSIONAL on the dial, it is the full size, moon watch descendant.
