I'm having difficulty. Seems my phone takes pictures that are too big - even at the lowest setting.

Am I doing something wrong?

If you have a PC put picture on PC then just edit with paint resize picture to around 1000X1000 pixels, or use one of the free apps that will do it for you.Free hosting picture sites like Imgur upload it there they will resize it for you the copy paste the forum Imgur IMG code in your post it is very easy to do.

Good advice Peter but many today want to use a phone for everything. Not sure how anyone can read or look at images on a phone but that is their choice.

In my case I use Flickr, which has a phone app as well as a web interface. I could never get used to Tapatalk which seemed like it was far more trouble than useful.
