RM, Rolex, PP all softening. AP by and large holding firm for some reason. Good time to make that opportunistic purchase IMO.

Demand isn't as high as perceived (but is still very high). The overwhelming majority of RMs "available" for sale aren't available at all. Can't see a knock on effect in the boutiques just yet, unless everyone on the very long waiting lists bail of course.

Thanks man... I guess I’ll just be happy waiting for the call on the 67-02. Was hoping to see if I could be opportunistic.

Still seems rather insulated to me. I think things may be moving a bit slower, but the prices certainly haven't dropped. Nor have the purchase offers from grey dealers.

I've been on the hunt for a 67-02 Zverev for more than a year, I'm reluctant to pay the premiums dealers are asking but lately I could smell a little softening on the prices.

I am still trying to decide if I should sell my 11-02 and pay a premium for the 11-03. I like the 11-02 but my eyes are what they used to be and hard to read the minute sundial and the GMT hand.. Although the later can memorize... Question is what is an acceptable premium.. I know subjective and no correct answer fits all

Did u buy the 11-02 from the AD? If so. Why are they not getting you to the 11-03?

You would lose money on the 11-02 and then pay a premium for the 11-03. Wouldn’t that be like a 70-80k hit?

Purchased from an AD not a boutique new less than a year ago. To even get on the boutique list have to buy an extra watch I don't really want. I am hoping to get 135K-140K for the 11-02 if I sell it and can get the 11-03 with premium 165 to 170K...

Depends on which 11-03. Premium varies depending on demand for that particular piece.

10-30% is the going rate as an average.

You're gonna get crushed on the 11-02.....Remember they were WAY under retail even after the boom started.

Call Michael and see what he'd pay!

(That being said, I think now is 100% the time to sell, especially if you're willing to wait a few months for the 11-03)

Not sure if belongs in this thread but an American tourist had his RM11-03 forcefully ripped off his wrist in the middle of the day outside his hotel in Stockholm, Sweden. Article in Swedish but you can probably run it through Google Translate:

If you wear an RM you should have insurance. It’s peanuts. It’s an easy piece to rob ESPECIALLY on Kevlar. Insure it and wear it with joy!

upon further inspection (and I bought this brand new and peeled plastics off)

I noticed what looks like a dust particle right under the E in MADE. should I make a big deal about this or just let it be? really don’t want them opening the case

Does it bother you? I mean it is not a cheap watch. You should return it and give it my phone number :)

But seriously. I’d bring it up

I think i’m just going to live with it for now, can’t stand to have the watch reopened... looks like it’s on the rubber gasket itself and wasn’t wiped down properly before closing

Believe it or not- this has been the case on three different RMs I owned at one point. Sad but true. I personally never had them fixed, but also didn’t keep those pieces long.

Full disclaimer the RG 11-03 is a beauty! I am not in here to troll guys but I dont understand how these are so popular in RG and TI. The reason I say that is because they sit very high on the wrist and with that kind of profile they have to be absolute scratch magnets. RM is known for innovative materials. It seems to me like it should be NTPT or nothing so the watch can take a beating. I was shown a Baby Nadal in NYC: RM35 in Ceramic (the version before the 35-01 in NTPT) and it was pre-owned but very disappointed in how the Ceramic showed wear. Just my 2cents.
