Fake Insert

Hello there my Fellow Rolex enthusiast.

Just wanted to bring to your attention a seller by the name of Tom Le. His seller name on Ebay is https://www.ebay.com/usr/vintage_swi...p2047675.l2559
I bought an insert from him in the past that turned out to be fake. It was $1000.00. It was part my fault maybe being that I didn't know as much as I know now. He sold it to me as authentic obviously.
I later down the road tried to sell it and the potential buyer alerted me. I then looked it over and immediately realized it wasn't authentic and was 100 percent fake.
I then reached out to Tom in reagurds to the insert being fake. He then of course asked for pictures which I obviously provided him. His response then was he got them from his Rolex dealer. He said he has 30 years experience and there is no way it is fake.
It clearly is fake. I have attempted to contact him and make him make it right. He has since been ignoring me, which doesn't surprise me.

Here are some phots so you can see exactly what I'm referring too.

I'm sorry to hear that, man. Can Ebay, or Paypal (if you used them) resolve the problem? Else, your credit card company can be contacted that you were sold and counterfeit/fraudulent Rolex trademarked item.

There’s a lot of these about. Sold by WatchPartUSA for $10.

Most are artificially faded and worn. There are dealers selling these things who know exactly what they are, fake.

Here’s one from the self titled ‘Blueberry King’. Make of that what you will:

Bummer BigBlue1! Sorry to hear that! I can see why you liked it. I too have looked at these but they just seem a little too fat and too exaggerated on the serifs. Not to mention great colors with absolutely no fade. It also looks too flat on the underside without the small ridge towards the outer edge for a GMT. What is actually wrong with it that gives it away as fake??

You called it already. The edge. Sucks, but unfortunately I let my excitement get the better of me.

Sorry to hear this happened to you! Is it because the back also isn’t red or blue?
