Would love some opinions on this Datejust!
Hey all,
I found this Datejust on ebay. Would love to hear what you guys think of it and what you would think a good price for it is. I'm looking for my first rolex still and this one is a beauty! Seriously considering putting in a bid for it,, http://cgi.ebay.ca/Rolex-Mens-6694-M...3A3%7C294%3A50 Thanks in advance! |

Personally i would not buy this watch. Dial is not original, it is a manual wind, and dose not come with the original bracelet.
But if i bought it i would pay probably no more then $ 900 dollars. Just my .02 There are better watches out there all original of this type for under 1500.00 Probably not with a MOP dial but they would be original |

Because questions about things being sold on ebay belong in the watchout section.

looks good. super clean
not that I've brought from them myself but it looks like the seller is a reputable/fairly trustworthy one so that's always a good start. possible things to consider: 1) they mention that the dial has been refinished. this may concern some people, personally I wouldn't mind really. 2) no bracelet. if you want to wear it on a bracelet you'll have to buy that too. if you like it on leather then it's good to go 3) manual wind. what you want? If it is and you're happy to wind it that's fine. if with all things considered it's the one you want as your first rolex i say go for it. good luck. chris |

thanks for the input guys. After further though manual wind is not for me. Its such a clean watch I fell in love with its esthetics right away.
I realize I was posting in the wrong areas now - I did not realize that all ebay stuff had to go in the watch out section. Now I know! Thanks again |
