NWA 5212a

It’s a really fun piece. Great size, love the steel, and it’s going to be a strap monster. Cheers!

I got the call for mine on Christmas Day last year!

I’ve been dreaming about this since the announcement in 2019. I really wish this came on a deployant though. I asked the service center in Bangkok about options and really the only solution is the white gold deployant and new strap since the white gold only pairs with 16mm. Does anyone have any good suggestions on a deployant solution?

You can get 16mm or 18mm WG deployments from Patek (I have both), but you will need a new strap anyway to fit properly since deployant straps are different lengths to tang straps.

Very nice! Congrats on the addition. It's also on my even expanding list. If only it was big more attainable at retail.

Seems like that’s the only Patek option. There’s an elusive 14mm stainless deployant that I read about on another forum but it seems to be unattainable because it was for a limited edition reference from years past.

I think I finally know what nwa means. At first, I thought what’s this new obsession on TRF with a 40 year old rap group

Thanks for the picture reference! I think you've sold me that's the way to go. Is there any marked difference in tone between the white gold on the clasp and the steel case?

The deployment and watch case are slightly different. The white gold deployment is a warmer tone compared to the bright stainless case. But since they are never seen together the difference is not apparent. And as another mentioned keep in mind that you need a strap with deployment lengths and holes that are slightly larger for the deployment stud.

I have been offered the 5212a by AD. Is this one with waiting list? Or easily obtainable
