Hong Kong GTG - Pictures!!!

I can't say that this is the first ever Hong Kong GTG, but it definitely is the first in 2010.

Although there were only four of us, we had a very enjoyable afternoon, and one of us actually picked up two new watches!!

Funny thing is we found out that we all are Canadians that moved to Hong Kong to work.

Kevin brought his sameday-pre-meet purchase: TT GMT Ceramic! After the meet I received a text message from him saying that he caught the PAM bug and went back to purchase a PAM005 - what a day!

Jon brought his newly acquired 5513 - which was an absolute beauty. Allen had his trusty SD and I wore a 16800 I recently bought for my brother.

Sorry for the crappy quality iPhone pics and I promise to bring a real camera next time.

Thank you all for coming out in such short notice. Enjoy the pics!

From Left to Right:
AVS (Jon), CX007 (Kevin), allenlau2000 (Allen), inspires (Eric)

7 Watches - 4 Guys - (Kevin brought 4 watches )

Thanks Eric for this fabulous meet!! I had a great time, and knew a few more shops that I would have not know if it wasn't for Eric and Allen!

It was a pleasure and hope the next time more locals would come out as Hong Kong is the place for Rolex, and if there are those who share the same passion as us, no matter if you have a Rolex, few Rolex's or even none!

If there is any of you that are planning to visit Hong Kong do let us know. We have a good group of guys that are willing to meet up, have a few beers, and go watch hunting together

JJ - you need a visit soon! Much has changed since 98. Kevin (cx007) says you are one of the major reasons for his TT GMT-C purchase yesterday, and I have to admit I semi-influenced him to pick up his PAM005.

Cheers,

Eric

Visiting HK is one of my goals for the VERY near future..... (I have a connection to that part of the world.... my GF is originally from Laos and was born in Bangkok)

Meeting fellow watch nuts, drinking beer and watch hunting adds to the fun!!!!

Cheers!

That it is..!! Right beside the vintage watch store...

If you guys are interested, I'll check with London Watch to see when they are having their opening.. Believe they are targeting to open early Feb, just in time for another gtg!
