Melbourne - Australia get together 15-2-10

Just announcing that there will be a Melbourne, Australia GTG on Monday 15 February 2010.

How big it is depends on YOU!

Please respond to this thread to indicate your thoughts.

The venue is likely to be a very good quality, reasonably priced restaurant in Melbourne.

Can't make it. Will be in Munich at that time.
Currently enjoying the 'nice' London winter weather of 4C day / -4C night with a dose of soar throat and cough.

Tentatively (subject to further suggestion) the dinner will be held at:
The Shark Fin Inn
50 Little Bourke St, Melbourne - (03) 9662 2681

Commencing time is 7:00PM (or a little earlier if you want a pre-dinner drink of Champagne or Pinot Noir).

It will be nice to see you there Eddie.

Funny thing is, we only live 20 minutes away in Adelaide, and we need to go to Melbourne to catch up.

I know Dave, it's not very good, but John just suggested this last week and that was the first I knew he was coming to Melbourne on Monday.

So, yeah I'm sorry man.

Hey there Jed

Nice to see you here.

I told you Adelaide was the place to live, but you didn't listen.

But I guess the crappy whether in Melbourne reminds you of home.

Nice to catch up with you tomorrow night. Steve is rounding up a posse, the Melbourne GTG's gets a reasonable gathering, ESPECIALLY when I come down.

Sad to see my baby going, but it will be a great send off for it.

John.

I wish you had given me more notice, Steve. We have theater tickets for War Horse tomorrow night and then dinner reservations at Hakassan after the theater. We already lost one set of theater tickets and dinner when our flight to London was delayed by the weather in DC. I can't afford to miss another set of theater tickets.

Maybe next time.
