Ceramic bezels are very fragile when not firmly in the bezel. You're asking for expensive trouble if you try to insert a ceramic bezel without proper tools/training.

your sub bezel pip doesn't quite look right. Maybe it's just the blurry pic. Anyway, some guts you got doing a mod like this. I hope your case made it out unscathed. Not too shabby.

Have you seen the video of the guy who built a Lamborghini in his basement? Some people are pretty handy. While I have no doubt the ceramic insert is tricky, It probably isn't any more difficult than a lot of other things if you take your time and plan it out.

This mod is 100% possible and has been done before. The hard part is sourcing the insert as a spare part.

Even with this tool the ‘snap’ noise is rather nerve wracking, a horrible job considering the expense and rarity of ceramic inserts. Ignore the case references on the documentation, it’s the same tool for Ali and ceramic inserts.

^^ This ^^

My Rolex certified watchmaker has one of these and had to attend Rolex training to be able to use/own the tool and have access to parts.

Your mileage will vary using any other process.

So much for, “Ceramic insert how to”...and the sharing of information to others on the forum.
