Really awesome that you got the CHNR - it's a gorgeous piece. Also, super nice of you to share with the group on other pieces :)

Huge congrats. CHNR is near, if not at, the top of my list for my next piece in a year or so. Stunning watch.

They just came in or where there all along but the safes are being opened up finally because the ADs need cash flow?

Businesses needing cash flow is not new. Demand dropping is what’s new.

I've been running my own business for 15+ years.

Cash Flow is VERY VERY important. NO business can survive without cashflow. Zero point holding stock in the warehouse/safe collecting dust - at some point every business will run out of money to operate daily without any cashflow.

Clearly but I’m commenting on the ADs games. In all likelihood these watches have been in the safe all along. There are no special deliveries from Rolex taking place.

Awesome job. I'd snap up that CHNR if I was in your neck of the woods!

Think people should be extremely hesitant if putting a deposit down on a watch. The likelihood of bankruptcy for ADs is ticking up by the day...do you really want to have the stress of not knowing if they’ll ever open up at all? I wouldn’t be surprised if ADs were taking multiple “deposits” on a single watch.

The median small business has 27 days of cash buffer (assuming zero revenue) with retail having 19 days, according to JP Morgan. As the shelter in place advisories continue and the massive confusion surrounding the SBA loan process rages on, the number of small business bankruptcies is going to be huge. Sadly, many ADs will likely be amongst them.

i apologise if this is offensive but...

is it appropriate for the OP to be encouraging people on this forum to send deposits to a closed business?

also the poster (hl04mn) who just opened an account so he could cheer on another party who claimed to have just put down on a deposit on a watch?

again, i apologise if this is offensive, but this looks dodgy and i think people should be careful.

Your enthusiasm for the root beer reminds me of my kids always wanting to share their newest/favorite toys to their friends! I know our focus should be less on luxury goods and more on the pandemic; but your child-like enthusiasm put a smile on this health-care worker's face. Wear it in good health.

The most refreshing post I’ve read in about a month. Thank you for all that you do and stay safe.
