Hesalite for me. The milky ring around the saphire sandwich doesn't do it for me.

I'm a fan of display backs. Pair that with the sapphire on both sides and I'm happy!

For me it would be Hestalite. However the answer is what suits you is your correct answer. Looks good, enjoy the watch

Looked at hesalite again vs sapphire. I was having second thoughts. Nope, still prefer sapphire.

I dont swim with mine but I also would not worry if I fell in the water or had to jump in to fetch something/someone out.

hesalite for sure and it can definitely be for daily wear.
my preference is 3572.50 which has hesalite front and sapphire caseback. not easy to find one with full set for this reference these days.

Both are excellent, but last year I had to choose...... and I chose Hesalite! I'm glad I did. Love the look, warmth and feel. Modded with a Thomas Preik sapphire case back.

Had the choice, and the funds for both. Went to the AD and looked at both. I really wanted the Sapphire Sandwich for the beautiful case back, but when I saw the two together it was a no brainer. I went Hesalite, and do not regret that decision one bit.

The watch snob on AskMen cracks me up. I think he tends to be quite polarizing...but I get his sense of humor. Here is a link to him discussing the Speedy.
