Icon14 Wearing a Rolex + Apple Watch?

Hello folks, how many of you wear a Rolex on one hand and on the other an Apple Watch?
Simultaneously
Are you comfortable with that?
Have a lovely day

I saw that Hodinkee announced a partnership with Apple and suggested that people should go double wrist. I think that’s way over the top.

I retired my Garmin when I bought my Rolex. Tried putting the Garmin on the other wrist to still count my steps, sleep and other fitness/health related things. I lasted about 10 minutes. I’m not a bracelet guy and the black rubber strap seriously clashed with my 16613. Who needs to know how many steps they take a day anyways!? Lol

Have been doing it for over seven years, yet with a Samsung Gear of various iterations.

I wear mine only when I exercise etc. I have never been able to get my apple watch to become a daily. I can’t imagine how it can be. Mine would always be practically dead by end of day. The amount of alerts would drove me nuts so I turned most off. Turns out it’s practically useless without all the alerts.

I was at the RSC in BH the other day and the wonderful lady who served me had just that! On her right wrist she had a classic Air King, and on her left an Apple Watch. The AW was for work, while the AK was her “watch.”

I’ve been wearing 2 watches for a while now. Apple on the right and mechanical watch on the left. The only comments I ever get are when I go into a watch store. Otherwise, no one has ever commented on my 2 watches. So it’s more in your mind than it is in others.

I’ve even wore my cheap watches on my left hand — Casioak and Timex Q while wearing my Apple Watch on my right. My SS Apple Watch is definitely more expensive than them.

I used to wear the apple on my right and my normal daily on the left but after a few months I grew sick of the apple. Just normal watches for me but I get it’s nifty and helpful but I’m all for just the one per arm but it’s preference

I did it for a few months and I enjoyed all the activity tracking features, daily goals, etc. Personally found it useful although not really essential.

The problem I found was that it draws a bit too much attention from others and ends up focusing people on whatever nice watch you are wearing and gets them asking questions about it.

I wear my watches for myself and like to switch them up. My workplace is not one where many people wear nice watches and definitely not multiple in rotation so I did not really enjoy the fact it made people focus on whatever was on my wrist.

If that is not an issue where you are or you don’t mind it, then go for it.

If you are interested in some health tracking without adding something to your wrist, I have really enjoyed the Oura ring https://ouraring.com/. More passive data than active tracking, but if sleep data is interesting it is much easier to wear at night than any smart watch.

Garmin is also better for sports tracking so my Apple Watch sits in a drawer waiting to be gifted to whoever might actually use it.

Only at the track when I need connectivity (AW) + reliable time source (Rolex). But feel dorkleheaded in short sleeves

in long sleeves I'd consider it, but I don't wear long sleeves.

Sometimes I do around the house, just to keep the automatic running, and accidentally forget to take one off.

I absolutely understand this if you have heart problems the ECG function would be helpful.

Just don't pull a Ric Flair and wear both on the same wrist.

My Apple Watch is an extension of my phone and my wearable connection to the internet. It is not a watch.

I wear it on my dominant hand, and my Rolex on my watch hand.
