Big Pilot 5002 vs. Big Pilot Transitional 5002

Is a Transitional 5002 worth a 37.5% premium over a standard 5002? Both are same near mint condition.

That is the scenario I am currently contemplating. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Just went with the OG. I would take the transitional at similar pricing I guess, but I enjoy the slow beat in the large arc of the second hand.

If you knew you want the 5002-01 for a long time than maybe I would consider the transistional; it’s one of those features that could be hard to recoup

Nice. I actually just pulled the trigger on an OG myself. I've been searching for the perfect one for three years and finally found it.
