Pepsi bezel insert real or fake

HELP: Question: Besides the hook 2 and the flat 4 issue. Did the pepsi dial dial have numerals 1 and 8 dividing the blue and red evenly or did the one or 8 sometimes come very close to the dividing line .

As far as I'm aware, it was only ever divided evenly between 9 and 3.

I think he meant the "18" which would be at 9 o'clock if the triangle is at 12:00. I don't know the answer to the original question but be aware that the latest aftermarket bezels have finally corrected the hooked 2's so they are a lot harder to identify now.

I am seeing many inserts with the 8 nearly touching the red on the pepsi and coke. the 2's and 4's look good and the back looks good . Material is strong and not easily flexed at all however the 8 comes nearly to the red, very near the red but does not touch it.

pepsi insert , numerals 18 and color boarder

Real or fake. the 8 almost touches the red but it does not. My question is this. did Rolex make inserts where the 8 nearly touches the red but does not even if it is only a 1 mm away from the red or are these aftermarket . the material is very strong, no flex. 2 and 4 look ok but that red blue and red black boarder thing between the 1 and 8 has me concerned.

The 8 may look like it is touching but it is not very tiny distance away but it is not touching the red.
