1972 Submariner Date Model 1680 - Stolen

Hello. Guess I am a bit late in joining the forums party but better late than never.

Live in Northeast USA but through a series of oversights and coincidences, ended in Bogota Colombia wearing my 1972 Rolex Submariner Date, Model 1680, Serial 3183126. Incalculable sentimental value.

Making a very long story short, I was a victim of the "Rolex Band" on Saturday, July 7th 2018. After a shot was fired, I had to give it up as I could not place my girlfriend, who was in the car with me, more in danger.

Formal police record in place, and seems a few days later a big bust was made by the local police special unit that had been tracking "the band" for a while. Hopefully, some day it will find its way back in my possession.

Glad to be here...

Cheers.
