I'm with the group of folks saying they likely know your watch is coming this year but don't know if covid may impact it. They wouldn't take 100% downpayment otherwise.

Not a shock to me anymore, RM asks for 100 percent up front as well, and the MSRP's are somewhat stratospheric...but when you're payed up you HAVE a piece coming sometime that year. Id imagine it ends up weeding out people who are in it to speculate or don't have the capital wharewithall to actually be a "proper" customer of the brand. This doesn't mean, by ANY stretch there aren't fantastic customers with all the money in the world who would never do that btw, but I think that's the direction here. TBH, I'd be HAPPY to pay that to WOS if they are willing to take it on a model thats hard to get that I really wanted.
