Lepine pocket watch?
Hi. My mother was sorting through some of my late step father's things and found these watch parts. As I'm interested in watches she gave them to me.
Having done a bit of research I think it's a Lepine pocket watch from the sixties. It's 18 carat yellow gold and the main serial numbers are 733097 27-AM400 2638479 782 I would appreciate it if anyone could confirm that I'm on the right track and any thoughts as to what it may cost to have it restored. Thanks in advance. |

It would likely be best to contact a local Patek AD and see what they would recommend. As it is an older pocket watch and the unknown number of missing parts an AD would likely have it sent back to Patek themselves to give you a quote and estimation to complete the work.
Be prepared that it may be an expensive endeavor (service, parts, time, etc.). Good luck! Would be nice to see this restored. |

Tissot
I can see Patek on the dial but was wondering where Lepine fits in ........?
I was wondering where I'd heard this name before??? and then it hit me that Lepine had something to do with Tissot it will be a nice project and well worth having it restored, others will be adding there comments shortly and hopefully recommendations will also follow as to a go to watch maker who can help you out, 18 carat is a really nice thing to have. be sure to post photo's once restored,

Wow - unusual case due to fabrication of parts having huge labor prices at PP. Hopefully, OP’s movement isn’t perished to same degree as the one in that WUS thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

You never own a Patek Philippe, but you pass the restoration costs on to the next generation?
