The watch having been “dad’s” watch will make it special no matter what, and even though the two watches you mentioned are apples to oranges, the sentimental value will be remarkably similar for either watch. I honestly don’t know that much about that Patek so I can’t comment on how the monetary value will move, but I know the value will only continue to rise with the sub (especially if paid retail).
That said, either would be incredible, but I think a sub is the best way to go. |
