Congrats! One of my ex-wives has that watch with a full gold bracelet. It belonged to her dad. It seems to wear larger than it’s 34mm case size. It’s a beautiful watch. The case shape is one of my favorites.

Considering this strap for a more casual/contemporary look...thoughts?

(made with vegetable tanned Badalassi Carlo “Pueblo” leather, hand-stitched with linen)

Congrats on the first Patek - my first was just a month ago. I’d choose another strap for less formal use. That one is too wide at the lugs by a mm or two.

Perhaps an ostrich in a color you prefer. When cut on the bias it can be interesting.

Thanks! The “10 known” was referenced in the Sotheby’s auction in which I purchased my piece, and the last time the reference in WG came up, a couple years ago at a different auction house, that house also noted that it was one of 9 known. (I guess I should clarify that the message is “one of 10 known to have become available since original purchase”. As far as I can tell, the total originally sold is not known...

It’s made and sold by an Etsy craftsman named clins.

That green/olive strap is absolutely stunning. A beautiful watch someone obviously loved very much. Now it's your turn, a big congrats!
