Black dial is a possibility but no chance of a regular production titanium piece.

It is unlikely the new version will have Cal 324

Titanium? Not sure if thats a good move if true. Not that It matters as far as availability goes. No date looks nice.

So, is the consensus view that these “leaks” are off base or is there some legitimacy here?

Very nice. Not interested but hope that loyal Patek customers can actually get and enjoy it.

This will be hard for even loyal Patek AD customers. There will only be 1 to 2 blue pieces per year for your AD. Both the existing VIP and new hobbyists will want this.

And flippers too.

My guess the reason it a Cal 324 S. because it the only caliber which features central seconds but no date...... Just like the Patek limited edition Pilot 5522A....

Agreed. Any new hobbyist wanting to jump in here is frankly misguided.
Amongst the VIPs, there are clients who like the brand. And then there are clients who are liked BY the brand. The latter should get first dibs, then the former. I genuinely root that there is enough for both these camps. Beyond that, in my brutally honest opinion, the rest of the watch collecting world can gripe about not getting a ticket to ride and complain about the secondary market.

I tend to feel this way about any new release, regardless of global desirability or price point, that comes from a manufacture with finite production capacity.

I don’t buy it either. Would be awesome but sounds more like what I would ask for if you gave me carte blanche vs what Patek would do.

Hey you never know.

This looks fake. The reflection from the indices at 3 o’clock look different from that of those at 9, and in fact looks identical to the date window reflection seen on the official 5711 photos on PPs website. Someone did a quick photoshop cloning the index over 3’ and manipulated the dial color.

They can still modify the base Cal 26-330 if they don't want a date.

What made you think they would produce a regular Nautilus in titanium?

This appears to be the 5711 that has been photoshopped. IMO, Very sloppy work around the 3 o’clock marker (date window)

Yep. Cloned only the index but not the rehaut reflection. Also that supposed 6711/1T looks nothing like Titanium.

I guess taking the date away was easier than making it look good.

On a positive note, the sticking date issue has been permanently solved.

It will be really really surprising if the replacement for the 5711 is launched in titanium. I don’t really remember Patek embracing Titanium as a material for their watches except for the 5004T that was a one-off watch created for the One Watch charity event. If I were to predict, the 6711 or whatever is is called will first be launched in PM to increase the price point then the SS version will come out later at a higher price point than the 5711 to capture some of the profits of the grey market.

They’ve done one-offs in Titanium for refs 6000, 5524 and 5208 for Only Watch and other charity auctions. And then there’s weird-ass special orders like 5033T, 5001T, 3928T with a 9,5ct diamond as a transparent caseback (lol), 3998T, and the 5959-prototype. Many of them were festured on auction recently.

If true this is an absolute miss for me.

Titanium?!
I cannot stand titanium as it is just far too light and gives a watch a feeling I personally do not enjoy.
No date is a disappointment as well.

I truly hope this rumour is wrong
