I can see my DJII lume in the dark but that's not the same as saying I can read it.

Mine's pretty good. I got tired of the little clock radio by my bed being too bright (and also blue, which isn't good for sleeping), so now I point that away and sit the watch upright instead like a little travel clock.

Plenty bright enough to see the time at night, without keeping me awake.

I like the green lume; blue looks very Timex to me. I really like the big glowing sticks on my DJ II.

Yeah, camera exposure. In all honesty, Rolex lume is subpar to that of Omega and even Seiko (which is the best in the industry). I don't get why all the lume shots show that the lume is blue on Rolexes either... it's more of a teal color.
