Best mid to high end moon phase watches?

Been looking for a higher end horology dress watch for some time now, I’ve decided that I would like a moon phase complication on this particular piece - just looking for suggestions really .. shoot

I’m not sure what you consider mid to high end, but the JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon is my favorite.

Saw this today on Hodinkee. New release Breguet time zone watch. Has a rose gold sun and a white gold moon. The dial, complication, and case back look really cool.

Any Lange Moonphase…Saxonia and/or Lange 1 with the integrated day/night dial. Probably sound like a broken record at this point, but there is nothing really better at those price points.

L1 MP hard to beat here

If budget isn’t an issue that new salmon 5320G looks hot.

VC 56 full calendar. No stars but the moon is like a mirror.

I am also considering moonphase watch in the future and Patek 5205G would be my choice

Not sure of budget or if you would consider preowned but it is hard to beat the Patek 5575G.

I like the H. Moser Endeavour Perpetual Moon. Though it might be too minimalistic...

This has actually been one I’ve been staring at constantly for two days

It looks great.

I also like the look of Glashutte which is relatively cheap.

I’ve got the GO PML silver dial and it is a great watch. I love the colour and layout and would highly recommend.

That said, given your collection and thread title of mid to high end, Lange is what I would go for in your position. And what I would have done if I had the funds when I bought the GO. I prefer the 1 over the Saxonia, but that’s splitting hairs.

Plenty of great options though, so enjoy!

Have to agree with most. ALS on high end, JLC mid.

So, for various reasons I'm not particularly happy with Lange. Nothing to do with the beauty or quality of my watch, though.

I love the look of the saxonia moonphase but really not a fan of the auto movement - simply not up to Lange standards

I know you’re on the Non Rolex page, but I’m a fan of the Rolex Cellini Moon Phase … worth a look IMO.

Well I guess the coolest moonphase out there is the one in the newer standard sized Lange 1 MP.

My personal favorite is the Patek Philippe 5205g.

Usual gripes concerning the current climate, and the contempt displayed by brands towards their customers.

The watch is fabulous, not that I wear it.

I've only ever been to AD's except for the boutiques in Dubai, and the people at the Dubai boutiques were absolutely amazing. I guess for me, I haven't been trying to buy any of the hotter pieces...is it the difficulty of trying to get Odysseus and/or other limited pieces?

Well thanks everyone you’re all definitely along my lines of thinking. I’m sure some people would probably of seen post numerous times about wanting the 5205r black dial. It’s very elusive to even find one to try on in the UK I’ve never been able to find one.

So Lange has definitely caught my attention.

I think I really like rose gold with a black dial the most.

Also if anyone wouldn’t mind explaining the differences in Glashutte vs Lange to me is this similar to compare to Rolex vs Tudor?

- here’s some pics of some on my radar just based on appearance.

(I know some aren’t moon phases)
