Cartier Santos chrono thoughts

Any owners of one of these three Cartier Santos Chronograph models?

Looking to acquire one. Which did you choose, why? Would you purchase again after having for some time now?

Please let me know your thoughts.

None. Santos has been downgraded by Cartier and previous iterations were much better executed IMO. The design has been bastardized and made soft. A true shame because the previous iterations of the 90s were simply superb.

Which one do you own?

I like the new Santos better, a lot better.

I think the time only is my favorite

I don’t own one but if I was getting into the watch game now, the Santos or IWC Pilot would be my choice.

I had the previous model standard XL and Chrono XL, the chrono was enormous so much so I had to return it, not sure about the new one in terms of size but the lug to lug on the Chrono was over 52mm and the strap was stiff so too big for my 7" wrist, I think the new one is slimmed down.

I like the new Santos though and I'm thinking about getting a non chrono version.
