Not really sure what Im looking at here. Is this a frankinstien watch? I thought price looked good even if its just a parts watch. What do you guys think? Whats good Whats not?

There is a little adage about things that appear too good to be true.
I feel like this watch is a mine field, at best.

haha its funny when people preface their comments with 'I'm no expert, but....'

so here goes, I'm no expert but I know of one tell - look at the gap around = where the depth rating is......the gap should exist, but on fakes its wider. Study original dials, and then look at this one, decide for yourself.

From what I see the ft on the dial looks off, plus the patina looks man made.

I feel like this watch isn't even worth 'learning about'; it's all messed up versus one or two small items that are found with vintage.
