There is always enough work to never be bored. Perk of not having an office job.

It’s the reverse for me, I often end up needing to multi task my various activities. Very very rare that I’m ever able to get ‘fully’ up to date as there is always something new cropping up, plus lots of nice to have items on my to do list to pick from.

Would rather be busy and fully engaged all day than not. Makes it very enjoyable.

This...My job requires tons of conference calls and meetings that are not overly useful. Usually when I am on here.

I click around on the map display for suitable airports or, if none, flat terrain/bodies of water and calculate if we could make it there gliding there if at that moment and altitude/upper winds both engines suddenly failed couldn't be re-lit. If oceanic and since we carry two life rafts, I think about which crew/passengers I'd most like to spend time in mine with although that could come down to who had what and how much for dinner if there's rough seas below.

If it's night, I also turn the cockpit lights down as low as they go and look out the window for satellites/auroras/meteors/a man out there on the wing.
