Originally i went in wanting a 41.. I put it on and was like hmm first though this is maybe to big.. then i put on the 36 and was like wow this isnt as small as i thought.. then i started staring at the dial and was like hmm this is maybe a bit to small..

I am all about blue dial on a jubilee with the fluted. SO i am just thinking... maybe the white dial is making it look to big? or maybe i am sort of leaning towards the 36 because its a darker dial and on the jubilee like i like it?

I cant decide :( As of now im on "the list" for the 41 but should maybe i should do 36 or is it even an option to be on the "list" for both? haha

What do you guys think?

IMO, 36mm looks better on your wrist. Depends how you like your watches, if you typically wear large watches the 36mm will feel small but its not!

I would rock a 36mm only if it were all 18K gold. If it were steel or two tone, I wouldn't buy one. Solid gold is the way to go for a 36mm.

I sold my 41 and got the 36 instead. No regrets.
Wrist size 6.75
I even made a video about it on YouTube.

Well Rolex first brought it the Datejust in 36 mm size in 1946. Subsequently they brought out the Date in 34 mm size. Now those two sizes accounted for considerable earnings for Rolex over the next decades. Men did not concern themselves with their wrist size, unless being measured for a shirt. Hyping a product was, pretty much, confined to Madison Avenue. IMHO, 34, 36, 41, eh who cares.

I own a date 34mm and an explorer 36.
Much more to my style than the larger 40mm GMT styles.
I have a 6.25 in wrist

I've been wearing a 34mm 15203 (smooth bezel) for the past 25 years. It's as much a part of me as my wedding ring!
I love it!

Just bought a 36 DJ and I have a 6.25" wrist! Took off about 6 links. Love the big statement look.

Sounds like you are leaning towards the 36, so I would recommend that size. Not sure how important the “investment” factor is to you, as you did mention it as a consideration, but to answer your primary question, a 36 should suit you well.

My wrist is 6.6 inches. I have a Rolex Explorer 36mm 124270 and I consider it to be ideal for me in every aspect.
