Two watches at once?

I know I will get a bunch of dismissive responses. Not just people trying to show off but Princess Di did it. Same with Maradona.

Anyone here do it? Same wrist or different wrist? Maybe an apple watch and Rolex on other wrist?

Guy at work does it as he has many watches and wants to appreciate them. He doesn’t care what anything else thinks and I say good on him.

It would kind of make sense to me if one was a smart watch, to keep track of exercise, remind appointments etc. But two fine timepieces? No, not for me

Once in awhile I'll wear a leather wrist strap on my right but not for long.

I wear two watches at home. Usually a 14060M on the left wrist and a 114060 on the right wrist like I'm doing now as I type. Sometimes the Sub Date joins the team and eventually I wear two Omega. No watch winder here so that's how I keep them in rotation. Only once I wore two watches out on the streets. It was 2012 when I bought a 2255.80 and a 3570.50 at Tourbillon Wall Street but it was february and I was wearing a coat so no big deal. The store is not there anymore unfortunately. They were great to deal with.

Hard hard no. I did a Fitbit and a watch for a little. That was as far as I’d go.

I agree with this line of thinking ^^^

Also, I’ve tried wearing a watch on my right wrist just for a change, and it’s never really felt right for some reason.

Smartwatch/fitness watch on a wrist and normal watch on the other has been common for some time now.

I just order a Fitbit and I am going to try this option. I’ve been wearing an Oura ring and while working out a polar OH1. But tracking both apps is getting old and now I want to combine the two capabilities. I’m thinking I’ll put the Fitbit on a Paracord band to reduce the watch look. I wear a memorial one now on my right wrist so hopefully it’ll look similar enough no one will notice. If they do oh well.

I know a few watchmakers that do. Never understood the exact reason nor did I care enough to ask.

Interesting but not for me. I once met a rancher who wore 2 identical watches and kept 2 wallets on his person, when I inquired he replied that he once lost his wallet and ever since then he carries 2. Strange logic....

I've worn my Fitbit and a watch. I don't see why I should not enjoy my watches while I'm keeping track of my walking and such.

I've worn my Explorer and my DJ at the same time, but I did so in such a way as to not be noticeable by others. It was winter so the one on my right arm was easy to conceal. I did it as an experiment to see how closely they kept time and it was only for a few days.

It is more reasonable to have a fitness tracker / smart watch and a normal watch on each wrist. IMO it doesn't make sense to wear two different mechanical / automatic on each wrist (or the same wrist for that matter)

I always wear a mechanical timepiece on one hand and smart watch on the other. My Fitbit. No problem so far. I only take it off once a week to charge it.

I would never emulate a "celebrity"

I have worn two watches on occasion while watch shopping for size and visual comparisons.

Beyond shopping, no I would never wear two watches at the same time.
