I prefer 232 bcoz its more historic and classic.
I have compared my 232 with 190. The biggest different is tobacco dial that make gold hands on 232 look more beautiful than gold hands on 190's dial IMO.

Thanks for sharing!
I don't the the big debate is between these to, rather between the 372 and the 232! |

great bump, thanks. gotta be the 190 for me, especially with the movement and the size........but, maybe i'm alone on this one, but, the "8 DAYS" text on the dial bugs me a little. i'm sure if i handled the watch and wore it, it'd be fine, though.

Curious to know what the consensus is when the 232 gets re-released...

And if history is any indicator, it will be reissued with more brown hues...and more "vintage" feel...maybe even domed crystal?

had the 232 (47mm) for a short time... found it a bit big for my wrist, compared to my 210 (45mm).
fyi, a detail that i hadn't picked up in pics, is the size of the numerals, they are significantly larger on the 232 vs the 210. (i believe the 190 dial would be similar to the 210) i havent had the opportunity to try the 190 but im really fond of that jlc movement.

To 100thmonkey
Great pics, the earlier ones and these latest of the 232. Thanks for sharing them. You mentioned the 232 went ta tas for a while, clearly you needed it to return to the fold. May I ask please, did you wear the 190 (often or infrequent) in that time and what drew you to buying another 232? My intrigue and curiosity is that both of these watches, for me, are my favourites, one of them one day will be a reality. I already own a JLC 8 day Reverso, so you can figure why I might have a bias in that direction. To counter that I also have a 287 Radiomir auto as my daily driver and just recently, Mik (mfer) kept showing pics of his 210 with gold hands, SO, I bought a 210 last week which is on its way to Australia. Also ordered a set of gold hands, but somehow I don't think it will be enough. Thanks again for sharing (especially for creating the initial post) the pics and look forward to your reply. cheers richard |

No debate here at all.. 190 >>>>>>>232.... 232 is just over hyped.

The movement is the biggest difference obviously but the 232 never really did anything for me.
